Topline Barbie and Oppenheimer continued to dominate the box office in their second weekend in theaters, bringing in a combined total of nearly $140 million domestically from Friday to Sunday according to Variety, after Barbie had the biggest opening so far this year when it premiered last weekend.

If Barbie continues on this trajectory, it will only be the second film to cross the $1 billion mark so far this year, after The Super Mario Bros. Movie had great success earlier this year and earned $1.34 billion worldwide.

Meanwhile, Oppenheimer brought in more than $46 million this weekend for a domestic box office total of $174 million for the two weeks it’s been in theaters, and $400 million for a global box office total, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Currently, Barbie only stands behind The Super Mario Bros. Movie ($574 million), Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse ($377 million) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 ($358 million) for highest earning films of the year domestically, according to Box Office Mojo.
